King Creature have released their new single Desolation as well as a music video for the track.
The band premiered the tune on tour with Phil Campbell and the Bastard Sons and is a song that dives deep into the dark place.
“Desolation is a dark song about the destruction of the world by fire all viewed through the eyes of the last man, who can’t bear to watch; hence the final moments of desolation are viewed through the closed eyes of a desperate dying man,” said the band.
“Desolation is a very serious topic song that really reflects the current mood among people around the world. For a long time, post-apocalyptic landscapes have been imagined in art and films but now they are truly becoming a reality in areas around the world; if we are not careful the entire planet could face this vision,” they grimly concluded.
The band from Cornwall have been putting their noses to the grindstone since they released their debut in 2017 and that includes tours with some of the biggest names around.
Therapy?, Megadeth, Hellyeah and Motörhead have all shared a stage with King Creature as they continue their quest to get to the top of the game.
