Russell Hughes2000trees has announced Deaf Havana as the main stage headliner for Saturday night.
Deaf Havana join Frank Turner and the Sleeping Soul (Thursday) and You Me At Six (Friday) as the main acts for the festival.
As well as the third headliner announcement, 2000trees has also broken news of a host of other bands signed up for the July festival.
Flogging Molly, Turnstile, Drug Church, Can’t Swim, The Black Queen, Wicca Phase Springs Eternal, Get Cape. Wear Cape. Fly, ANGEL DU$T, Dream State, The Number Twelve Looks Like You, Blood Youth, Palm Reader, Holding Absence, Conjurer, Press to MECO, Normandie, Allusinlove, Haggard Cat, Cold Years, Holiday Oscar, A.A.Williams, PENGSHUi, JOHN, itoldyouiwouldeatyou, Delaire, the Liar, Sulli, Floorboards, All Ears Avow and Sœur will all be performing at the Cheltenham festival.
Tom Ogdan, who plays the drums for Deaf Havana, said he was delighted to be asked to perform at 2000trees. “Personally I’m so excited to headline 2000trees Festival. Last time Deaf Havana headlined my daughter was born, so I didn’t make it! It’s the only show I’ve ever missed, so I’m so thankful that we’ve been asked back!”
Can’t Swim will also be performing, and they said that this is the one festival they’ve always wanted to play. “Ever since we started the band we’ve wanted to be at 2000trees. Seeing the line up for this year has me even more excited to be apart of the festival. Very much looking forward to it.”
While Angel Du$t can’t get enough of the line-up: “2000trees is going to be phat. I wanna hook up with the hot dude in Higher Power and stage dive to Muncie Girls.”
2000trees Festival organiser and main man James Scarlett -added:”I may be bigging myself up a bit here, but it’s definitely the best line up we’ve ever had at Trees in terms of strength in depth.
