Metal quartet Vexed have released the brand new music video for their debut single Elite, which features CJ McMahon. Check it out here!

The band definitely live up their name with her first track, which takes aim at those who look down their nose at others.

With an Employed To Serve vibe, those who like Force Fed will froth off Elite.

The tune “was written to show that no one is better than anyone else,” explained vocalist Megan Targett.

“It’s aimed towards the arrogant people of the world who think they’re gods gift when in reality, they are no one.”

A further release should be hot on the heels of Elite, which is the first of two singles Vexed have recorded and ready. A debut album should also arrive, along with subsequent tours and festivals.

“We’ve got two singles ready to release and we are currently recording our debut album which will be released later this year,” explained Targett.

“We are also planning more music videos, we’re booking shows and festivals but can’t go into any details for now. We’ve been making music together for a good few years now but Vexed was born in 2019 and we want to play all over the world.”

Vexed are something different and are like no other bands, artists or musicians on the scene at the moment. Elite is honest, and raw yet melodic with a chorus packing a punch.

This song is a tantalising example of what the band can produce, and the rest of the year should be very exciting from that perspective.
