With his Bloodwork EP dividing critical opinion (no change there then) and a final headline tour before hooking up with one of his many side projects, shock rocker Wednesday 13 is back in the North East tonight.
Headlining Newcastle’s o2 Academy, the former Murderdoll guarantees a great show – if you like your rock with generous helpings of sleaze and a huge slice of horror cheese. But the fact that he surrounds himself with a shit hot live band means there’s few better value gigs on the live circuit right now. With support from label mates Chelsea Smiles it’s a great way to see out a truly Mad March for rock across the region and you’d be an April fool to miss it.
But if you can’t be there then don’t despair. rushonrock will bring you the first live review money can’t buy and don’t be surprised if we bag a cheeky interview with the natural heir to Alice Cooper. We might even ask him about those Munsters tatooes – but only if we’re really, really desperate.
