Bury Tomorrow have revealed the music video for My Revenge, a track from their Black Flame album. Black Flame was a smash success, and we absolutely loved it on the RoR offices.

The latest record was released last summer on Music For Nations, and you can hear it live during the band’s December UK tour – their only UK shows during 2019.

“At the end of 2018 we played the biggest shows of our career,” said singing guitarist Jason Cameron. “My Revenge was a huge part of our set every night and to hear crowds singing a new song that loud, as if it had been around for years – was truly something special!”

The track is inspired by the events of Jeanne de Clisson’s life, a woman from Brittany whose husband was executed. She considered the act cowardly and unjust, and with the English King’s assistance and Breton sympathisers, Jeanne was given three warships.

She then used those ships to patrol the English Channel and with them, sunk French ships. She painted the ships black and their sails were dyed red. She captained the flagship, which was named My Revenge.
