Crack US rock crew Shinedown will be back in the UK this autumn after announcing a nine-date headline tour.
Despite the mixed reviews that followed this summer’s Download festival set, the hit-laden Floridians have become a permanent fixture on British airwaves in 2012.
And with latest album Amaryllis set to spawn as many instantly recognisable singles as predecessor The Sound Of Madness it seems even greater recognition is guaranteed.
Lead tune Bully kicked things off in fine style while Enemies is released to radio stations this week. Adrenaline has been A-listed on Planet Rock for several weeks and there are plans to push I’ll Follow You in the future.
Frontman Brent Smith and his bandmates, Zach Myers (guitar), Barry Kerch (drums) and Eric Bass (bass) are set to spend the back end of the summer headlining the Rockstar Energy Drink Uproar touring festival in the US (www.rockstaruproar.com). The annual event kicks off in Kansas City on August 17.
