We’ll be bringing you a full interview with the former Deep Purple and Black Sabbath man as part of next week’s rushonrock relaunch and our unrivalled coverage of High Voltage.

But for now sit back and discover something new about the Black Country Communion frontman in the latest of our ever popular Riders.

On your iPod: I’m not really listening to anything else other than Ronnie James Dio-era Black Sabbath. I want to do him proud when I get on stage at the High Voltage festival.

Small Screen Pleasure: Even though I live in the US I do watch a lot of the BBC stuff we get over there. I love watching documentaries and I’m often glued to the A&E Channel. But I don’t watch that much TV because so much of it is crap!

Making A Meal Of It: In moderation I love a good curry. I don’t eat meat and I don’t eat a lot of dairy products but when I do fall off the healthy eating wagon I always go for a curry.

Drivetime: I’ve got an XK8R Jaguar Turbo.

Ace Place: It has to be Hawaii.

Dream Destination: Bali and Indonesia.

Nickname Shame: Not one for print.
