He boasts one of the most distinctive set of pipes in the business and he’s still going strong – his name is Ted Poley and he’s our latest Hair Metal Hero!

With Danger Danger’s brilliant new record Revolve under his belt and the promise of UK dates to come in 2010 we’re looking forward to plenty more from the frontman who brought us early 90s classic Screw It!

Read on to discover the music behind Ted’s hair metal heroism…

Hair Metal Gold: I liked Enuff Z’Nuff when they broke onto the scene and Extreme’s Pornograffitti. But I never stray far from the Yes, Rush or Journey records of that era.

My Classsic Cuts: I like different songs for different reasons. I have a few! I like: Sick Little Twisted Mind; That’s What I’m Talking About; Don’t Break My Heart Again, Shot Of Love, Tip Of My Tongue.

The Big Gig: Well I’ve seen Steel Panther and they’re great new friends of mine. I saw the bombs go off with Kiss and I’ve seen John Waite and Eddie Van Halen in action. All of those gigs are memorable.

Danger Danger Live And Dangerous: There have been one or two gigs in Japan which were great but I suppose Wembley Arena with Kiss was the most memorable.
