howard leese action2Aerosmith’s Joe Perry will open for Bad Company when the blues rock legends return to live action in the UK next spring.

Paul Rodgers and co. have announced eight arena dates for next April – including a stop off at Newcastle’s Metro Radio Arena on April 7.

And the Joe Perry Project will open up as special guests on what is expected to be one of the hottest tickets of 2010.

Earlier this year Bad Company ‘new boy’ and long-time Paul Rodgers cohort Howard Leese revealed the band were hoping to play the UK this month.

And the former Heart man stayed true to his word – jetting in to play a one-off gig with Rodgers in London earlier this month.

But fans will already be counting down the days until next April and the chance to see one of the best vocalists on the planet blast out the hits alongside Leese and original Bad Company members Mick Ralphs and Simon Kirke. We can’t wait.
