Founder member of emo kids turned modern rockers INME, singer songwriter Dave McPherson is a man for whom music means everything. But even he has time for some of the other finer things in life.
And as the UK hotshots prepare to unleash new album Herald Moth next month McPherson took time out to reveal what makes him tick away from power chords and crunching choruses. Just don’t expect a lift anytime soon…
On your iPod: There are three bands featuring in a big way now – Born Of Osiris, Reuben and Job For A Cowboy. I’d love to think my old mates at Reuben will get back together one day and JFAC’s new record is just brutal!
Small screen pleasure: I’m going through the entire collection of Star Trek: The Next Generation. It’s pretty cheesy American space stuff really but there’s always a good moral to the tale. I also love Two And A Half Men.
Making a meal of it: Lobster. I love it. Can’t afford it but I love it all the same.
Drivetime: I’m about to start my 35th driving lesson and when I do pass my test one day I’ll drive anything which gets me from A to B. That’s how much I like cars.
Ace place: I did just have the best time of my life in Nice.
Dream destination: Australia is somewhere I’d love to go.
Nickname shame: Di Macca. Or just Macca.
