Twelve months ago today RUSHONROCK launched with the aim of waxing lyrical about the music we love and bringing joy to the world through power chords and big choruses.
Ultimately we spawned a rock monster and in the last year we’ve interviewed everyone from Def Leppard to Dragonforce and Joey Tempest to Journey. Throw in exclusive features like The Vinyl Countdown and the rushonrock Rider – plus the best rock blogs in the business – and it’s little wonder we’re still going strong! And getting stronger.
With more than 36,000 views since last November – we only started counting then (!) – we reckon well in excess of 40,000 people have passed through these pages since August 2008. So thanks to all of you and please keep coming back for more. We’re going nowhere fast so stay for the ride.
Special thanks are due to Mrs Rock, Self Made Man, Dirty Adam and Plus One – without you the world of rock would be a pretty dull place. And I’d like to thank every one of the bands and musicians who have spared a few minutes of their valuable time to pass on some serious words of wisdom during 12 magical months.
We don’t make any money (but feel free to rectify that anytime soon) and we don’t advertise (yet) – we simply exist on goodwill and word of mouth with one thing in mind: rocking all over the world!
