The Quireboys are planning a post-lockdown boost after revealing plans to tour the UK in support of A Bit Of What You Fancy’s 30th anniversary.
Spike and co. will be playing the length and breadth of Britain from December 2020-February 2021.
And riotous Aussie rockers Massive are joining their Off Yer Rocka label mates for what promises to be a must-see double-header.
“A Bit Of What You Fancy is where it all began for the Quireboys,” said Spike.
“It was an incredible album that launched our career. However, the way we sound and play now doesn’t do it justice.
“It’s been a pleasure updating it to our modern-day gypsy rock and roll sound.
“I’m sure everyone will enjoy the new version of the album in all its glory and the shows will be a blast.”
The band will play ABOWYF in its entirety after revealing the re-recorded version of the UK number two album will be available from July 1 on CD and limited edition vinyl.
And Massive will open up for their old buddies prior to heading out on their own headline UK tour in February.
A 48-hour Planet Rock ticket pre-sale starts on Wednesday June 3 at 10am via www.planetrocktickets.co.uk.
Tickets go on general sale on Friday June 5 at 10am from www.thegigcartel.com.
The 13-date tour kicks off at the Bullingdon in Oxford on December 10 and wraps up on Tyneside at The Sage Gateshead on February 13.
