The Gospel Youth have announced that they have signed a deal with Rise/Velocity Records and will release a new album this year.

The pop rockers will also be touring the UK in support of Seaway alongside WSTR towards the back end of January.

Producer Romesh Dodangoda, who has worked with Motorhead, Bring Me The Horizon and Twin Atlantic, will begin working with the south coast rockers in February.

The Gospel Youth formed in 2015 and the five-piece have already played alongside staltwarts of the genre such as Mallory Knox and We Are The Ocean.

As well as performing with those two groups, they have also shared the stage with Deaf Havana, Hands Like Houses and others.
