Rock n roll royalty the Quireboys will hit the road again this spring as the band prepare for one of their biggest years yet!

Supported by blues guitar hero Pat McManus – formerly of Mama’s Boys – Spike and his mates have announced plans for eight new dates in April and May.

A new album is in the pipeline with the band understood to have secured a new distribution deal.

And rumours are rife that the Quireboys are in line to return to Donington on this summer’s Download bill.

“It is more than 20 years since I formed this band and there’s never been a better time to be a Quireboy,” beamed evergreen frontman Spike.

“We’ve had our fair share of incredible highs and a few well documented lows but these days the only way is up!”
