The UK’s biggest global rock export in a decade blast back on to the scene in 2012 with the release of brand new album Weapons.
And Lostprophets will celebrate their fifth long player – and hasty follow-up to 2010’s The Betrayed – with a homecoming headline tour taking in 14 towns and cities across Britain and Ireland.Â
The Welsh wizards are aiming for a fourth successive top five UK album and a third gold record in row. Lostprophets are also hotly tipped to be named as one of the stellar attractions at this year’s Sonisphere festival in Knebworth – with the first slew of bands on that bill announced later this week.
The band started recording Weapons – due for an April 2 release – almost 12 months ago after landing at LA’s NRG Studios in February 2011. And Lostprophets finally wrapped up work on what promises to be another groundbreaking rock record at the back end of last year.
