It’s that time of year when we take a look at the hot tips for 2011 and after bringing you Benedictum and Architects it’s the turn of Twin Atlantic to hog the spotlight.
The fiery foursome have forged quite a reputation playing alongside such diverse heavyweights as Blink 182, The Gaslight Anthem and My Chemical Romance.
But this month fans have a golden opportunity to get up close and personal with the Glaswegians as they headline a series of intimate venues on what is sure to be one of the must-see tours of the year!
“We are really looking forward to this tour,” said frontman Sam McTrusty. “We have supported so many bands over the last year with next to no headline shows and that has made us really miss the vibe and community of our wee fan base.
“This is us getting back to what we do best and it is only made all the better that we have just finished recording our debut full-length album. We will be playing some new songs that define the new direction for us and we can’t wait to let people hear what we have been working on.
“To top it off, it’ll be great to be back on the road with Tom DeLonge and Angels & Airwaves for the shows in Europe.”
Twin Atlantic are in the US putting the finishing touches to this year’s hotly anticipated debut album with producer Gil Norton but they fly home next week ready for a fresh assault on the UK. Enjoy!
