New recruit Vivian Campbell (pictured, third from left) has pledged to enjoy life in Thin Lizzy while it lasts…after conceding his day job will bring a premature end to the dream gig.

The Def Leppard star will hook up with his primary employers for a massive North American tour this summer when the multi-million selling stadium rockers get back down to business. And Campbell admitted: “I’m going to play with Lizzy for as long as I can because I love every minute of this.

“But there will come a time when I have to start off with Def Leppard again.

“And I guess Lizzy will have to get someone else in to replace me. That guy will be walking into one of the best jobs in the world!”

Campbell adds Lizzy to a CV which already includes Dio, Whitesnake and Leppard. And he hits the road with Scott Gorham and co. this week as part of stellar line-up of the famous Irish band.

Lizzy will be fronted by Ulsterman Ricky Warwick and also feature stalwarts Darren Wharton, Brian Downey and Marco Mendoza.

The tour kicks off in Aberdeen on Tuesday and look out for a full and exclusive interview with Campbell here soon.
