The Mayfair Reunion returns next month and the North East’s favourite night of rock nostalgia looks better than ever thanks to Jon Bon Jovi and his mates.
Everyone who buys a ticket in advance for the Newcastle o2 Academy event on April 2 will be entered into a prize draw with a very special package up for grabs – tickets, travel and accommodation for Bon Jovi at London’s o2 Arena this summer. O2 Academy Newcastle will again be transformed into the legendary Mayfair Club and to celebrate the club night’s return bosses are offering rock fans the chance to win tickets to see the biggest mainstream rock band on the planet.
Advance ticket holders will be placed into a draw to win a pair of tickets to see the legendary rockers live in London in June, with return travel to London and one night’s accommodation.*
Carrying on where original Mayfair jock Little Jeff left off, Graeme Jenkins and Big Gordon will play a soundtrack of gems from the old days to keep you rocking through the first Bank Holiday weekend of 2010, taking you back to the days when hair was sprayed high and the music was heavy!
The Mayfair Reunion pays homage to Europe’s largest and longest running rock club and the long list of bands that played at the club throughout the 70s, 80s and 90s, includes Black Sabbath, Nirvana, Thin Lizzy, The Clash and Led Zeppelin.
And if that’s not enough, O2 Academy2 will be playing out today’s greatest alternative anthems.
