Kingdom Collapse backstory

Rising out of San Antonio, Texas, fast-rising rockers Kingdom Collapse have racked up the road trips ahead of this year’s debut album release.

Sharing stages with a who’s who of must-see live staples — including Three Days Grace, Nothing More, 10 Years and From Ashes To New — the firebrand quartet are on a collision course with success.

Born from the close friendship binding lead singer Jonathan Norris and childhood buddy Aaron Smith, Kingdom Collapse are 2026’s ones to watch.

And the former freely admits that the death of his dad — when he was just eight — continues to drive a steely determination underpinning an ambitious band.

According to Norris, Kingdom Collapse ‘carries the torch’ for his late father and he admits ‘music became my light’.

David Work (guitar) and Gaston Flores (drums) complete a line-up that’s been gigging all summer ahead of a run of high-profile support slots.

“Victorious is a signature Kingdom Collapse anthem that we did for our diehards.

“Big riff, sing-along chorus, and a resilient attitude.

“Since this one has such a motivational vibe, we invited our friend and AEW wrestler Thunder Rosa to be featured in the video.

“She’s a badass so we knew she’d do a great job.”

The verdict on Victorious

Does what it says on the tin.

A celebratory anthem mixing passionate modern metal with a kickass video clip.

If champion AEW wrestler Thunder Rosa steals the show then her best moves are soundtracked by a wall of raging heavy rock.

Jonathan Norris delivers every note with a combination of searing self-belief and furious angst.

But if Victorious sounds like a vicious, unrelenting assault on the senses then its overriding message is one of testosterone-boosted positivity.

Kingdom Collapse are building a reputation, a movement and the riff-fuelled foundations for future success.

And Victorious is the triumphant sound of a band rapidly winning the metal community’s hearts and minds, one banger at a time.

Norris and co. are out on the road Stateside for the next three months opening up for Adelita’s Way and Lakeview.
