Out on April 19, the record represents a remarkable rebirth for the band which burst onto the scene with major label debut Do You Love Yourself in 2005 only to disappear without trace.
Signed to Tyneside’s Global Music, on their DR2 imprint, The Glitterati released new song Fight, Fight, Fight to critical acclaim in November and fans can expect more of the same on the band’s long-awaited second album. “We went into this album wanting to make a harder, more aggressive sounding record, whilst retaining the hooks and melodies that have always been an important part of The Glitterati sound,” said the band.
“It’s been a long time since our first record and we have been through so much just to get to this point. We can’t wait for people to hear the new songs and to start making up for lost time.”
A full UK tour and summer festival appearances are expected to be announced soon.
