Anyone who caught Hanoi Rocks on any one of their farewell dates throughout 2008 and 2009 will want to own the definitive record of the band’s final days.
And that is now available in the shape of an HD quality film of Mike Monroe and his mates ripping up their hometown of Helsinki with special guests and all of the hits.
Buried Alive includes the band’s final show with a behind-the-scenes documentary and a whole lot more.
Hanoi Rocks ended its long and colourful story gracefully in April 2009, by playing eight sold-out shows in six days in Helsinki at the Tavastia Club. The band started its career at the very same venue at the beginning of the 1980s.
The Buried Alive set-list consists of 32 songs – classic tunes as well as newer songs from the last Hanoi Rocks line-up (Michael Monroe, Andy McCoy, Conny Bloom, Andy A.C. Christell and George Atlagic).
Nasty Suicide, the original Rocks guitarist and Lacu, a long-term drummer, guest during the show. Hanoi Rocks also play a touching version of the song Million Miles Away, which they dedicate one last time to their drummer Razzle, who died tragically in 1984.
The gig is recorded and shot with 12 cameras, using full HD.
