No, we’re not talking about the festival to end all festivals but one of the UK’s fastest-growing rock and metal websites featuring the bands you love by the bucketload. Yes, we’re confidently predicting this could be the biggest week yet for rushonrock and its army of loyal readers but if you’re new to this then welcome along for the ride.
First up we’ll be reviewing the limited edition gatefold vinyl edition of The Answer‘s newie Everyday Demons and rating it against this week’s top releases from Rush, Shinedown and Thin Lizzy (all featured in yesterday’s Rock Solid). Talking of Lizzy we’ll be rolling out an exclusive interview with Scott Gorham as he revisits the past and plots the future.
But let’s not forget the biggest event of the rushonrock week: Metallica at the Metro Radio Arena. It’s going to be in the round, in your face and in-credible. And we’ll be bringing you one of the first reviews right here.
We’ll also be reviewing Hawkins and Hot Leg at the o2 Academy on Friday where, incidentally, we’re hoping to hook up with Fables Last Stand for all the latest gossip on the North East’s next big hope.
Canadian supergroup Rush might have a new Retrospective record out this week but they’ll be getting The Vinyl Countdown treatment this week and our latest Monster Of Rock is none other than Testament’s Chuck Billy.
