Top tips for 2009 – super cool North East quintet Fables Last Stand – have revealed they’re heading into the studio next month to lay down the remaining tracks required to complete their eagerly-awaited debut album.
With some pretty sterling work under their belts already -following a successful jaunt to Bryan Adams’ Vancouver studios last year – it seems we could even see the fruits of their labour before the summer!
And the boys have decided to wrap things up right here in the North East after bagging a slot at the Global Music-owned Blast Studios in Newcastle’s Ouseburn area.
Singer Roachie caught up with rushonrock this eveing and said: “We’ve spoken to the guys from Global Music and we’re booked into Blast Studios for March. The songs are written and ready to go so we’re not anticipating a long turnaround. All of us want this record out as soon as possible.”
If the new record is anything like the guys’ fantastic support slot at December’s Quireboys’ Academy show then we could be in for a real treat. And rest assured rushonrock will bring you the latest Fables news every step of the way.
