After several phone calls, a couple of run-ins with the Christmas post and an incident with a small child and a jiffy bag we’re delighted to be holding a copy of the six-track classic rock gem that is the new EP from Heaven’s Basement.
Off on their travels to Italy for a series of headline shows this month the boys will be back in the role of Thunder support act in Germany, Holland, Belgium and Switzerland very soon. And those of us who saw them back Danny, Luke and the boys before the festive period are still humming along to some hook-laden quality now!
“We’re hoping to have sme very exciting news to share with our fans in the near future but until then keep rocking,” rhythm ace Chris Rivers told rushonrock. We will.
And it won’t be long before a band who were Hurricane Party and then Roadstar (don’t ask) ink a major label deal because they’re so bloody good. Until then add them to your list of uniscovered gems and feel all smug when your mates are snapping up Heaven’s Basement albums in 2010 thinking they’re onto something new.
