OK, so Death Magnetic is out there, loud and proud, a full day before its due release date but that hasn’t stopped rushonrock from sticking rigidly to its plan to celebrate thrash metal’s finest all week. We’ll bring you our own unique look at the album they’re all talking about tomorrow but for now enjoy a blast from the band’s glorious past.

And they don’t come much more glorious than the crunching Kill ‘Em All with monster track The Four Horsemen an obvious early highlight. After that the hard stuff comes thick and fast with Whiplash checking in at just over four truly wicked minutes. 

But they say patience is a virtue and if you’re prepared to wade through eight songs and around 40 minutes of metallic madness then you come to the record’s finest moment in the shape of long-time crowd fave Seek And Destroy. If only Death Magnetic could leave such a lasting legacy…
