Industrial Puke backstory
Vomiting up a stinking, sticky mix of Stockholm death metal and Scandicrust, Sweden’s Industrial Puke are as nasty as their name suggests.
And that works for us.
Featuring Burst’s Linus Jägerskog on vocals, three members of post-hardcore/mathcore outfit Rentokiller, and Obstruktion’s Mattias Rasmusson on drums, the quintet coalesced in 2017 over a mutual love of Disrupt.
They’ve since gifted us the Where Life Crisis Starts EP and a debut album, 2023’s Born Into the Twisting Rope.
And they haven’t wasted much time since that release: their second full-length, Alive To No Avail, will hit later this month.

“Biblical Corpse is the third and last single off the upcoming album Alive To No Avail. This pulsating colossus of metal music shows the heavier and more dynamic sides of Industrial Puke.
“Driven by a pulsating mid-tempo groove, merciless vocals, an epically blistering guitar solo and a blunt unholy atmosphere. An ideal song for heavy lifting, a lone forest march or when you just need a battering ram of a metal song to crush skulls and split skies.”
The verdict on Biblical Corpse
We lost legendary Entombed frontman LG Petrov four years ago this week… and this track is a reminder that his spirit lives on. The Swede would no doubt approve of this HM-2 driven, anti-religion stomp. Yes, it’s considerably slower than the Puke’s standard fair, but it brings a satisfying extra crunch to Alive To No Avail, as well as some spectral chill. And the leadwork slays!
What’s next for Industrial Puke?
Alive To No Avail will be released on March 28 on Suicide Records. The band will then be heading to Portugal next month for SWR Barroselas Metalfest, where they’ll be joining the likes of Repulsion, Unleashed and Aura Noir.
