Ramblin’ Man Fair has announced its first main stage act ahead of next summer’s fifth consecutive festival – Canadian classic rockers Monster Truck bagging Friday’s special guest spot.
After revealing the full line-up for July’s Prog Stage, organisers of the Kent event have unveiled a slew of acts set for the Grooverider Stage.
And leading the charge are Hawkwind as the psychedelic progsters prepare a special 50th anniversary set.
Joining Lemmy’s former band In Sunday July 19 are Vintage Caravan, The New Death Cult and Crown Lands.
And the latest bands confirmed for Mote Park join prog legends Big Big Train, Curved Air, Pure Reason Revolution, Moon Safari, Lazuli and Blurred Vision.
Monster Truck, formed in 2009, released True Rockers in 2018 and joined Black Stone Cherry on the Kentucky rockers’ UK arena tour late last year.
A full headline run across the UK followed earlier this year and the band is planning a new album for 2020.
Ramblin’ Man Fair takes place in Maidstone, Kent – the garden of England.
Mote Park is one of the largest in South East England with more than 450 acres of mature parkland and a 30-acre lake.
Ramblin’ Man Fair 2020 takes centre stage from July 17-19.
