Black Label Society have released the music video for their song Bored To Tears, taken from their new album that’s due out in the spring.

The band, who are led by Zakk Wylde, entrusted Justin Reich to direct the video – the second one Reich has been in charge of.

Black Label Society pulled this one out of left-field with the inclusion of all sorts of madness, such as lollipops, dinosaurs and dancing turtles.

Wylde said that he wanted Reich to produce something ‘exciting’ and ‘tough-looking’ that should be modelled on the stars of spaghetti western.

“With the new Black Label supah-exciting technicolour dream coat high calories burning video for Bored To Tears, I told Black Label dirctor o’ doom and delight, Father Justin Reich, that I wanted to an an exciting and tough looking video in the movie genre of Clint Eastwood and Charles Bronson,” he screamed.

But, it all went wrong. Wylde’s vision wasn’t carried out – and something a little bit different was born.

“After seeing the video, apparently Father Justine Reich doesn’t know who these legendary film icons are or has them confused with two other actors named Clint Eastwood and Charles Bronson. Every time I watch this video I’m more confused than I was during the previous viewing.”

Black Label Society have also announced their ’20 Years of Sonic Brewtality Tour’, a brand-new batch of 2019 North American tour dates in conjunction with the new release.

The band will play two shows in each market – the first night will feature Sonic Brew played in its entirety, while the second night will see the band play a set of greatest hits. Support will come from Conan and The Atomic Bitchwax.

Black Label Society will also participate in U.S festivals Sonic Temple, Epicenter, and Welcome to Rockville on this run of dates.
