Introducing Essex based alternative rock outfit ROB JARVIS AND THE MERCURY SONS who reveal their debut single ‘Just To Make You Happy’.
The single achieved its first exclusive radio airplay on Alex Baker’s Kerrang Radio Fresh Blood Show and the single release is only the beginning of what’s to come from this quartet, they played their debut show in Newcastle last month which completely sold out and earlier this week they unveiled the singles new video – Just To Make You Happy, which you can watch here:
ROB JARVIS & THE MERCURY SONS have a vast amount of influences from Stone Temple Pilots, Soundgarden and Alice in Chains, through to Biffy Clyro and Foo Fighters, right on to the likes of Jeff Buckley and of course further a field. ‘Just To Make You Happy’ is the perfect debut offering to showcase Rob’s incredible song writing ability; a dynamic rock track with light, shade and incredible passion. Expect the unexpected with an eclectic lick of originality.
“Our debut release ‘Just To Make You Happy’ hasn’t been shown to a great deal of people, but those who’ve encountered it during the ‘making of’ stages have made reference to all kinds of bands, certainly lots of reference to 90s rock, so we hope you all like it.” – states Rob Jarvis, lead vocalist and guitarist.
Big things are expected from this band, and from the quality of this single, you can see why. Vocally and sonically, the band are as tight as they come and will only improve with experience!
