HOMETRUTHS have announced their debut EP Open Your Eyes will be released on the 3rd of March via CI Records.

The band from Manchester, who have been described as musical activists, have released the video for Feral, which is the first single from the record.

The group initially gained attention after posting defaced images of their most despised people, such as Donald Trump and Nigel Farage, in cities around the UK with the tagline #OpenYourEyes – and their EP is a musical testament to that.

“The purpose of the record is to educate and enlighten people to what is going on in the world,” preached frontman Gaz Davies.

“Far too often people choose to turn a blind eye to these issues but with such a direct, in your face message people will find it hard to remain ignorant. People need to wake up.”

HOMETRUTHS bring a strong message of social change to their hardcore music and joined forces because of their anger and frustration with the world we live in. They have been compared to bands such as While She Sleeps, Sylar and Stray From The Path while influences from Madball and Biohazard creep in there.
