Post-punk heroes The Gaslight Anthem will return to the UK this autumn after revealing plans for a four-date tour in October.
New album Handwritten is due on July 23 and the band played Metallica’s Orion festival at the weekend to cement their reputation as one of rock’s best live draws.
Brian Fallon and co. play Lollapalooza in August as one of the most in-demand bands on the planet.
And to celebrate what promises to be another huge year for The Gaslight Anthem, the quartet have launched a fan club promising exclusive content and offers to fans.
“We decided to create a place where our fans could talk to other fans, share live recordings, photos, and their thoughts,” explained the band. “We also wanted to make a place where we could give something extra back to the people who’ve supported us through the years.
“We want to help cut down on scalpers and make sure real fans get the tickets they want. It’s also a place to get some cool extras every year from us just to say thanks for being there with us through the ride.”
Championed by UK fans from the outset – 2007’s Sink Or Swim and 2008’s The ’59 Sound gaining widespread critical acclaim in Britain – The Gaslight Anthem could yet expand October’s four date tour beyond the following shows:
