Cross-border raiders Lost In Audio aim to force the people of Newcastle into submission tomorrow as one of the North East’s best new live music/club nights kicks on.

Widely touted as the UK’s ‘biggest unsigned headline act’, the Edinburgh trio have already graced Kerrang! magazine and had their tunes showcased on Radio One.

Now the super Scots are topping the bill at the latest aLIVE@28 event in Newcastle city centre and frontman Joe Hendry is stoked to be back on Tyneside at the end of a breakthrough year for the fast-rising alt rockers.

“We can’t wait for the Newcastle show,” he said. “Some of our most loyal fans are actually from Newcastle so it’s great to get down there whenever we can.

“If you’re in town on Friday, you don’t want to miss this. The atmosphere at our gigs has been electric lately and I truly believe we’re on the cusp of something great. We want everyone in Newcastle to come down and get involved.

“This year has been a blast. So many moments come to mind. It was amazing to fill the Liquid Rooms in Edinburgh as well as getting our first play on Radio 1.”

Joining Lost In Audio are Motion Tourist and The Green Hour with the action getting underway at Newcastle’s No28 venue from 9pm. And the best news of all? It’s FREE!
