Our favourite new tune of the week simply has to be the raucous Not One Of Us by Aussie upstarts Dangerous! and we can’t wait to check out the crazy quartet at Download later this summer.

The ‘cool-as’ track landed on the rushonrock stereo earlier today and, like our favourite retro baseball cap, it’s never been off since.

It’s loud, nasty, laugh-a-minute and just a little bit rude but then that’s rock music in our book. Not exactly reinventing the wheel, Dangerous! do speed things up a notch and we’re expecting big things from this band in the next 12 months. Debut album Teenage Rampage was recently recorded in LA with Grammy nominated producer Ulrich Wild (Deftones, Pantera) and mixed by Marc McClusky (Weezer) and molds a cacophony of garage sound with high-octane rock-n-roll, the frenetic force of which will hit the road this summer to accompany the release of debut single Not One Of You.

“We are so glad a label like Epitaph can have a bigger picture in mind and work with a band from scratch,” said frontman Tommy Lofts. “Now we have a huge team of rad people working for us, it’s humbling and redeeming and it feels epic!

“This is a really exciting time for our band and we couldn’t be more excited that Epitaph is releasing our first album.”

Dangerous! will play some of the biggest festivals in the world this summer, including their international debut at the legendary Download Festival at Donington. See you there!! And in the meantime here’s Not One Of You in all its glory:
