Funeral For A Friend return with a vengeance in 2011 and new single Front Row Seats To The End Of The World is a heady taster of what’s to come.

The tune will be available from January 24 but a belting new video clip is doing the rounds on YouTube as we speak!

Drummer/vocalist Ryan Richards takes the lead on Front Row… and he said: “It was a lot of fun for me to do a lead vocal again on a track as it’s probably something I’ve not done since way back on the first record.

“And even then it was a co-vocal with Matt on tracks like Red Is The New Black and This Year’s Most Open Heartbreak. It’s also the first track I’ve ever done finger snaps on too!

“I remember reading the liner notes to Michael Jackson’s Bad and seeing him credited with ‘Vocals and Finger Snaps’ and it inspired me to one day be credited as such on one of our albums. I’ve now dreamed the dream – and it’s a beautiful thing.”

The new single precedes Funeral For A Friend’s fifth studio album, produced by Romesh Dodangoda, which will be released through Distiller Records in March. The band will also hit the road from March with a string of dates at intimate venues, some of which are in towns they’ve never actually played before. Support on these dates will come from fast rising British band Rise To Remain. The tour has now been expanded due to high demand.
