Wildhearts frontman Ginger has finally seen the expanded reissues of his band’s finest albums and the workaholic Geordie likes what he sees! The band’s first four records have been remastered and re-released as double disc CDs featuring a slew of B-sides and rarities. And it was during an exclusive interview with rushonrock that Ginger saw the new versions of some old classics.

“It’s the first time I’ve set eyes on these and I like what I see,” he said. “I haven’t really had anything to do with these reissues – it’s a record label thing. But it looks like they’ve done a decent job and anyone with a passing interest in The Wildhearts will want to own these albums.

“I don’t actually listen to Wildhearts records but I’m going to go away and listen to all of these. I’m really quite excited by what I’ve seen and, who knows, I might be just as excited by what I hear!”

Ginger hits the road with Michael Monroe next month as the Finn takes his new band on tour in support of Motorhead. And December will see the original rock n roll hero play a series of solo dates in the build-up to Christmas. Look out for a full interview with Ginger right here very soon.
