The freakiest folk from across the UK are lining up in their thousands to take part in two special Alice Cooper shows inked in for Halloween. And the demand has caused alicecooper.com to crash time and time again this week!

The shock rocker has invited weirdo hopefuls to audition for his groundbreaking Halloween Night Of Fear shows – already featuring the Jim Rose Circus and old pal Zodiac Mindwarp.

But the Coopster is keen to see as many crazy folk as possible bid for the chance to join him at London’s Roundhouse in October – with auditions taking place at the London Dungeon on Monday.

The unprecedented response has caused the website to crash and every time Alice’s hosts get it up and running again the volume of traffic keeps causing it to crash again.

Alice’s IT team are working overtime to keep the website live so that the freaks can submit their videos to get a timeslot for the auditions.

On Monday 2nd August, alicecooper.com began accepting video submissions of sideshow and freak acts. Now we know that Britain has definitely Got Freak and the best will be invited to a live audition on 9th August at The London Dungeon, 28-34 Tooley Street, London, SE1 2SZ at 7.30pm where they will ‘perform’ in front of a panel of judges in what will surely be the most bizarre talent show this country has ever seen!

The panel will consist of Alice himself, along with Planet Rock’s Nicky Horne and Time Out’s Tim Arthur.  The freakiest and most outrageous freaks will then become part of the show at Alice Cooper’s Halloween Night of Fear at the Roundhouse London on 31st October and 1st November.

Alice will perform his “Theatre of Death” concert in two very special and unique Halloween shows at The Roundhouse,  and be joined by special guests The Jim Rose Circus and Zodiac Mindwarp and The Love Reaction.

The Jim Rose Circus is a modern-day freak show, founded by Jim Rose in the early 1990’s and which found fame during Lollapalooza in 1993.  His show features a mixture of the bizarre, the comic and the repulsive… and has since achieved world-wide cult status.

Zodiac Mindwarp & The Love Reaction are renewing their association with Alice Cooper, having toured with Alice in 1988, a year after they achieved a top 20 with “Prime Mover”.  Zodiac Mindwarp also co-wrote “Feed My Frankenstein” for Alice, as featured in the “Wayne’s World” movie.
