Just days after debuting on rushonrock‘s 12@12 vinyl throwback the magnificent Manic Street Preachers have announced the September release of their new album and the band’s biggest headline tour of the UK to date!

With 2009’s Journal For Plague Lovers still fresh in the mind, the Welsh wizards will unleash their 10th studio album to coincide with an extensive nationwide trek.

Postcards From A Young Man is mooted to be a return to the classic rock roots of Send Away The Tigers and the arena sized choruses of Everything Must Go. The band is currently adding finishing touches to the record with producer Dave Eringa at their Cardiff studio and mixing will take place later this month with Chris Lord Alge in America.
