They’re one of the hardest gigging, hardest rocking new Brit bands around and we’re tipping The Crave for glory in 2010.
With their debut album on the horizon and a series of dates inked in with fellow UK crews Heaven’s Basement and Dear Superstar it’s all happening for frontman Ryan Burnett and his boys.
But just what makes The Crave’s crooner tick? We find out in the latest rushonrock Rider. On your iPod: There’s a band called Army Of Anyone – made up of guys from Stone Temple Pilots and Filter – who released a record a while back. But I’ve only just picked it up in the last few weeks and it’s brilliant. My guilty pleasure right now is the new John Mayall album.
Small Screen Pleasure: I’m a huge fan of Lost and, for me, South Park is TV gold.
Making a meal of it: A good Thai green curry always does the trick.
Drivetime: I don’t drive. I let our bass player drive. Vans are not for me.
Ace Place: It’s got to be anywhere in the USA. We toured the Sates in 2007 for the first time and basically played little gigs right across the country. I was living the dream.
Dream destination: Australia is a big one for me. And I’d love to spend a week in Alaska. I hear there’s a big rock scene there.
Nickname shame: People call me Ryman down here.
