As revealed on rushonrock last week rising Geordie stars Dirty Rock And Roll will open up on a night of full-on rock at Trillians next month.

Adam and the boys have inked a deal to play the Newcastle venue on March 19 before classic rockers Hollywood Tease and headliners Falling Red take to the stage.

The three-band bill on March 19 promises to be a must-see event and is further evidence that emerging promoter Electric Kicks has its finger on the pulse of the rock and metal scene. DRnR frontman Adam was due to rehearse with old band Baby Rattlesnakes earlier this week ahead of a one-off reunion show and we’ll bring you details of that gig just as soon as we have them.

“It’s a busy time right now and people have been asking me if this is BR back for good,” he said. “But it’s not. It’s a one-off show organised by our drummer Kallie and while we can’t wait to rattle through the old tunes I’m committed to DRnR.

“I’m also working on a studio project with former Baby Rattlesnakes bass player Chris and that’s shaping up quite nicely. 2010 is going to be a big year and we’ll be pulling out all the stops for Hollywood Tease and Falling Red next month.”
