Winners of rushonrock‘s 2009 Album Of the Year and a throwback to hair metal’s glory days, the fantastic Free Spirit have revealed plans to take the next 12 months by storm!
As Pale Sister Of Light continues to win rave reviews worldwide – with the record’s Japanese release a huge success – the band is already penning tunes for a hotly anticiapted follow-up.
And guitarist Vesa Yli-Maenpaa called rushonrock to reveal more.
“Hey!! First of all we are very honored that you have chosen Pale Sister Of Light as your album of the year for 2009,” he said. “That rocks!!
“Last year was kind of new start for the band with the Japan release in December, loads of gigs and so on. We are composing new material now and we’ve already written six or seven new songs.
“I think the new music is even more melodic than before. If we are lucky, the new album could be ready next Fall or at the latest spring 2011. Watch this space!”
