We’re less than three weeks away from the release of one of the most pivotal gigs in rock history and the first glimpse of a touched up Nirvana playing Reading in 1992 can be viewed right here.
Although countless bootlegs of the band’s legendary festival set exist, this version is the real thing with colour enhanced technology and audio sourced from the original masters.
And from what we’ve seen any self respecting fan of rock will want to own a unique piece of the Kurt Cobain action when the Live At Reading DVD is unleashed on November 2.
Initial formats include the must-have DVD/CD deluxe edition, a single DVD and the audio on CD. But for vinyl fans the double LP due out on November 16 will be well worth waiting for.
But if you’re itching to see a piece of the pin sharp action then we’ve bagged a clip of Bleach-era magic in the shape of School – the fourth of 25 stunning tracks across the Reading set.
Only two of these tunes have ever been released officially and from what we can glean Nirvana have never looked or sounded better. So if you want your tastebuds tickled ahead of next month’s big dose of grunge-fueled nostalgia click on the following. It’s fantastic.
