Young upstarts You Me At Six continue their quest for world domination this autumn with the re-release of Take Off Your Colours and a new single in the shape of Kiss And Tell – proving there’s plenty of life in the rock pups yet!
With their 2008 debut winning rave reviews across the board, a suitably solid display at Download under their belts and a sold-out headline tour of the UK to look back on it’s been a crazy 12 months for the pop metal kids.
And while it’s no surprise to see Take Off Your Colours repackaged and revamped this appears to be a genuinely must-have package for fans of the fantastic five-piece.
With three re-release only tracks joining the record’s original 13 tunes on disc one and a further five new tunes (plus two vids) on disc two this could turn out to be a collector’s dream.
The band headline a Kerrang! show next week after nipping into the studio to record new single Kiss And Tell – available on September 7 on all the usual formats including vinyl. And it seems there’ s no stopping John Franceschi and his pals as they continue to make the leap from underground talents to true rock heavyweights.
