A slew of new releases from our favourite melodic rock label Frontiers dropped on the rushonrock mat today and next month will keep the fire burning for all you fans of classy classic rock.
Jumping straight into the CD player was Joe Lynn Turner’s Live In Germany and the former Rainbow, Deep Purple and Yngwie Malmsteen main man has rarely sounded better. A live album is the perfect showcase for a singer who can still belt ’em out with the best of them and his version of I Surrender is a stunner.
Another rushonrock fave is Honeymoon Suite and the melodic maestros return with Clifton Hill next month – naff title, superb record. The album’s named after the place HS were formed but that’s really no excuse for a title which overshadows an excellent raft of soft metal classics.
Meanwhile, Josh Ramos and Hugo team up to unleash The Dream and Stockholm-based Eclipse hit us with the barnstorming Are You Ready To Rock. Full reviews will appear here soon and you get your hands on all of the above from Otober 10.
