Download 2013 is gathering pace with another 17 bands confirmed to rock Castle Donington in June.
And returning for a fourth bite of the cherry are…Black Stone Cherry! The US rockers will headline the second stage on Friday June 14 on a bill featuring SKIN, Uriah Heep, Dragonforce and Europe.
Another band set to redress the classic rock balance is bluesy 70s troupe Rival Sons – the band back on the second stage on Sunday June 16 following last year’s dazzling debut.
Mysterious US crew Ghost slot in between Rival Sons and Airbourne on an eclectic bill headlined by nu-metal legends Limp Bizkit.
Members of SKIN will have their work cut out with side project Red, White & Blues also announced among the latest raft of incoming acts. The latter play the second stage on Saturday June 15.
RUSHONROCK approved alt rockers Fearless Vampire Killers return for a second successive year following a hugely successful run on this January’s Kerrang! tour.
And US stars Little Caeser make a rare UK appearance – playing the Pepsi Max stage on Sunday. Rising stars of the UK rock scene Voodoo Six play the Red Bull Stage on Saturday.
