Saxon have added special guests to April’s UK headline run – rolling out rock royalty the Quireboys as opening act on the British leg of the Sacrifice World Tour.
Currently touring Sweden – and joining Cinderella, Lita Ford and more on next month’s Monsters Of Rock cruise in America – the Quireboys continue to set the standard on the live stage.
And after last year’s triumphant Download Festival double, Spike (pictured) and the gang are putting the finishing touches to this summer’s brand new studio album.
“The Quireboys and Saxon’s paths have crossed so many times at European festivals,” said Spike. “And we are thrilled to be sharing the stage every night with them on the UK tour. It’s gonna be a tour to remember!”
Saxon’s Biff Byford added: “It’s good to play with our mates The Quireboys. The tour should be a great package with their unique style of rock’n’roll. Get ready to party into the early hours!”
