Original rushonrock-chick Viki is keeping tabs on all of the key action in Prestatyn this weekend.

And as she readies herself for a barnstorming finale to Hard Rock Hell V here’s the definitive Day Two wrap!

Sweet Taste warmed up the cold and hungover Village Of The Damned crowd with ease, soothing the masses with their rock n’ soul—tinged bluesy rock.

Then it was over to Gentlemen Of Distorted Sound who, fresh from a stint with the Quireboys the previous night, tore up the Youngblood stage. Blues-based with a heavier sound rooted in early Whitesnake, their sleazier moments were an early highlight.

Runners-up at the Highway To Hell show, The Amourettes brought a coquettish charm to Stage Three – pleasing both sexes for very different reasons! Meanwhile Velvet Star shook the Queen Vic to its foundations with a fantastically energetic set.

Friday had been a roaring success even before  Million $ Reload rocked Stage Two. But Voodoo Six managed to raise the bar higher still with their brutal riffs and intoxicating ‘in-your-face’ presence.

But the biggest crowd of the weekend to date saw original party boy Ginger, formerly of the Wildhearts, show Wales how to let you hair down Geordie-style. Typically mesmerising stuff. Viki
