We doubt you’ll need reminding but it’s absolutely vital you draw a big red circle around Bonfire Night this year – and not because you’re in danger of missing the fireworks. The fireworks in question take place next summer when the incendiary Foo Fighters play back-to-back dates at Milton Keynes Bowl. And Friday November 5 is when tickets go on sale.

The shows will be their first UK appearance since 2008’s record-breaking two-night stand at Wembley Stadium. This time the Foos return for a weekend headline engagement at the Bowl on Saturday July 2 and Sunday July 3.

Supporting dave and the boys at their first ever Milton Keynes extravaganza will be Biffy Clyro on both days, Death Cab For Cutie and Tame Impala on 2 July, and Jimmy Eat World and The Hot Rats on 3 July.  Bob Mould has been confirmed as special guest DJ for both days.
