Alter Bridge axeman Mark Tremonti has issued a hands off warning to all those rock and metal bands looking to hire one of the hottest artists of 2010.
Myles Kennedy has seen his stock rise dramatically after proving his worth as a multi-talented frontman with Slash this summer. But in an exclusive chat with RUSHONROCK, Tremonti insisted Kennedy’s number one priority is still Alter Bridge – with the band poised to release their latest album and tour the UK next month.
“Myles has been a huge success with the Slash project,” said the guitarist. “Slash really likes him and everyone wants to do a record with Myles now.
“He’s a top notch singer and everything he puts out is going to be world class. But I think Myles has got his priorities right. He’s invested a lot of time and energy into Alter Bridge – like the rest of us – and he won’t be saying goodbye to this band.”
