They’ve only just called time on their fabulous A Bit Of What You Fancy 20th anniversary tour but the Quireboys are already plotting to give fans another festive treat in 2010.
For the second year running the boys have packed out venues across the UK in December and it seems the Chrimbo gigs – complete with golden tinsel courtesy of Noddy Holder (!) – are on the verge of becoming a permanent fixture.
“We’ve already pencilled in a return to Newcastle next December and it looks like we’ll follow suit with most of the other venues too,” said an excited Guy Griffin (pictured).
“It’s gone so well and we love being on the road at this time of year so why not make it a regular thing?”
