Killswitch band 2Metal fans across the country can look forward to a full-on ear bashing before the end of the year after Killswitch Engage and In Flames revealed they are joining forces to lay waste to six UK venues.

The hard hitting duo team up to headline the 2009 Taste Of Chaos tour in November and December with Newcastle’s Academy bagging one of the hotly anticipated gigs. And an excited Howard Jones warned fans : “Don’t forget to take a daily multivitamin if you’re thinking of seeing these shows!”

The Killswitch singer added: “Our new record gives us another chance to show you all a good time at a club near you! We are back on the Taste of Chaos tour – only this time with our friends In Flames. The bands will bring the music so we want all our UK friends and fans to bring the energy!  Let’s make this Taste Of Chaos tour one to remember!”

Swedish melodic metal titans In Flames were forced to postpone their last run of UK shows and added: “Since we had to cancel our last tour we are VERY happy to announce that we’re coming back to the UK in November. These shows are possibly the last ones in the UK for a while, so make sure you come to check us out and all the other great bands on this year’s Taste of Chaos!”  The dates are:
